SE227: Software Engineer – Product Development

Swift Software is a growing product-centered technology company seeking talented developers to join our development team in Frederick, MD.

You’ll work with our development team to create new features and enhance the existing functionality of JobTraQ, our powerful task management and workflow product. You’ll help us build advanced visual design and administration tools, augment the product’s business intelligence capabilities, improve performance and scalability, and use customer feedback to enhance all parts of the system.

To qualify for this position, you should have at least two years of experience developing and testing applications in ASP.NET and C# (or similar platforms) with complex JavaScript and CSS elements, and at least two years of experience in SQL database development. You should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, because you will collaborate extensively with your teammates to make your team and products successful.

Because this job requires tight integration with our team, you must be able to work in our office in Frederick, MD. This position will report directly to the product manager and will participate in our profit sharing plan to reward teams who deliver excellent service and performance to our clients.

  • Able to quickly understand feature requirements and work with teammates to design robust solutions.
  • Previous experience troubleshooting complex systems with many moving parts.
  • Previous experience with user interface design.
  • Previous experience with workflow systems or business process management.
  • Previous experience with business intelligence/reporting.
