Problem: Pre-Scheduled Tasks Are Generated at Unexpected Times

When a user creates a scheduled job, the time that it will run at is set to the current time. This can cause some confusion if it is not taken into account when creating the job. For example, if a manager created a job that reminded an employee to change the backup tapes in the company server every Friday, but it was 9:00 PM when the job was created, the employee might not see the job until Monday. The manager should set the job to be created at an earlier time (perhaps at noon), so that the job will be assigned to the employee earlier.Note: the next run time can be changed in the "Edit Scheduled Job" screen. So, if a user forgets to set the time when they create the job, they can go back and fix it later.

Another potential cause of confusion is that the next run date/time value is calculated in advance. Because of this, if the repetition options are changed, the next run date/time will not reflect the change. For example, if a scheduled job was created to run every Friday and is then changed to run every day, it will not run until the next Friday. After that, it will run every day, as specified in the schedule.
