Error: The job was saved to the database. However, one or more email notifications were unable to be sent. A complete record of the error has been stored in the JobTraQ error log.
Error:
When I try to add or edit a job, I get an error that says:
"The job was saved to the database. However, one or more email notifications were unable to be sent.
A complete record of the error has been stored in the JobTraQ error log."
Log Info:
In your JobTraQ® directory (C:\Program Files\JobTraQ by default), there is a subfolder called logs.
In this folder are log files with names that follow the scheme: <site name>jt<date>.log.
If you open one of the log files, you will see the full details of any email error that occured
on that date. You can then use this information to determine the cause of the error.
Common Cause:
This error is often caused by the use of an invalid email address in the "Mail Sender"
Account setting. This can be fixed by going into the Global Settings page (in the administrator
section of JobTraQ), and changing the setting to an email account that is known to be valid.
Many modern email servers require that all mail sent through them is from a valid account.
