Installation: Configuration utility reports that "IIS is not installed"
Issue:
When the JobTraQ Configuration Utility runs, it displays an error stating that IIS is not installed.
Resolution:
By default, the IIS web server is not installed on Windows 2003 Server. To fix this issue,
go to the Add/Remove Programs applet in the Control Panel, and click on Add/Remove Windows
Components. Next, make sure that the Application Server item is checked. After that, select
Application Server and click the Details button. In the window that appears, ensure
that Internet Information Services and ASP.NET are checked. Finally, go into the Details
screen for Internet Information Services, and ensure that the World Wide Web Service
is checked. Click OK in all the windows you opened, and when the program is done updating
your setup, re-run the JobTraQ Configuration Utility.
