Customizable Password Policies
An important element of information security is a password policy that ensures that user accounts cannot be configured with weak passwords that are vulnerable to attacks. JobTraQ allows administrators to set a minimum password length and to enable complexity requirements that specify the number and type of characters that must be used in each password. Alternately, administrators can connect their users to Active Directory, and enforce password policies there.
Active Directory Integration and Single Sign On
If your network uses Active Directory or any LDAP-enabled authentication system, you can configure JobTraQ to connect to the LDAP server for user authentication. This means that users don’t need to manually change their JobTraQ password to match their network password and ensures that JobTraQ accounts are disabled immediately when the corresponding network account is disabled.
